As part of its Engagement Agreement with Tjiwarl Contracting Services Zenith Energy has actively contracted Tjiwarl Member businesses to work on its projects situated on Tjiwarl Country. One of those contracts has been a mural by Sacred Senses Pty Ltd at Kathleen Valley. This artwork by Kuberan Muir tells the story of two Kunia pythons and their journey, depicting the creation of Jones Creek that crosses the mining operation and its cultural significance.
This initiative aligns with Zenith Energy’s Reconciliation Action Plan (RAP), developed in collaboration with Reconciliation Australia. Our RAP focuses on:
Building relationships: Establishing connections with local Aboriginal communities.
Fostering respect: Appreciating and respecting Aboriginal cultures to create an inclusive environment.
Creating opportunities: Providing sustainable opportunities for Aboriginal peoples.
