Senator the Hon. Linda Reynolds CSC recently visited Zenith Energy’s Rivervale offices, hosted by key members of Zenith’s leadership team including Doug Walker, Executive Chairman; Hamish Moffat, Managing Director; Dominic Da Cruz, Executive ESG & Stakeholder Engagement; and Jason Good, General Manager – Connected Energy. During the visit, discussions centred around the role of energy in supporting the international competitiveness of Australia’s critical minerals industry, addressing modern slavery and replicating more widely across the country Zenith’s microgrids solutions.
One highlight was the “Eve” Eglinton Village Energy microgrid, Western Australia’s first residential community energy network. This initiative, facilitated by Zenith Energy and Cedar Woods, integrates renewable energy solutions into property development, resulting in significant cost savings for participating households.
Plans were made to continue collaboration with the Senator including her visit to Zenith’s projects in the Goldfields to support Zenith’s development of a system solution for the region to ensure energy security, reliability, and its decarbonisation for the benefit of traditional owners, the mining sector and communities who live and work there.
During the visit, Zenith Energy reaffirmed its deep commitment to leading the energy transition with equity, diversity and inclusion as it progresses to Net Zero. The company firmly believes in the universal right to clean, reliable, and affordable energy, and it is steadfast in its determination to realize this vision. The visit underscored the commitment of Zenith Energy and its partners to pioneering sustainable energy solutions that benefit businesses and communities where we operate.
