Kundana Mine

Zenith established the initial Kundana power station to provide prime and standby power to the EKJV East Kundana Joint Venture. This is now under the control of Evolution Mining who also own the Mungari mine which is located600km east of Perth and 20km west of Kalgoorlie in Western Australia (WA).

Zenith Energy established the initial Kundana power station to provide prime and standby power to the EKJV East Kundana Joint Venture. This is now under the control of Evolution Mining who also own the Mungari mine which is located 600km east of Perth and 20km west of Kalgoorlie in Western Australia (WA).

Evolution Mining is an ASX listed company with operations in Queensland, New South Wales, Western Australia and Canada.

Zenith Energy is currently providing prime power, up to 9 MW, to the Kundana infrastructure.

The power supply commenced since 2017.

King of The Hills

The King of the Hills underground gold mine is 100% owned by Vault Minerals and is located 28km north of the town of Leonora in the Eastern Goldfields region of Western Australia.

Project Background

The King of the Hills underground gold mine is 100% owned by Vault Minerals and is located 28km north of the town of Leonora in the Eastern Goldfields region of Western Australia.

Zenith Energy is providing a power solution which will use a combination of gas sets, solar PV, and Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) to generate a capacity of 30MW.

The power supply to the site commenced in March 2022 with an initial term of 10 years.

Renewable Integration

The King of The Hills site will integrate renewable technology and will be the first to use the modular 5B Maverick solar solution, a big step in Zenith Energy’s objective to create a fleet of relocatable renewables.

The station is also designed to allow for further integration of additional renewable generation for future operations and expansions.

Zenith have operated and maintained the Chevron Barrow Island Central Power Station for WA Oil since 2008.

Project Background

Zenith Energy has operated and maintained the Chevron Barrow Island Central Power Station since 2008.

The island is located approximately 60km off the north-west coast of Western Australia (WA) and approximately 88km north of Onslow in the Carnarvon Basin.

Barrow Island is home to an oil production facility as well as one of the world’s largest natural gas projects, which produces over 2.1 billion cubic feet of natural gas daily and will continue to be an important pillar of the Australian economy (Chevron, 2022).

Zenith Energy is supplying a 21MW gas power generation solution and maintains the extensive high voltage distribution system on the Island.

Pantoro’s Halls Creek Project (Nicolsons Gold Mine) is a surface and underground mine located approximately 35 km south-west of Halls Creek in the remote Kimberley region of Western Australia.

Pantoro is an Australian gold producer with its 100% owned Halls Creek Gold Project in the Kimberley Region of WA being the key operational focus. The project provides the company, a platform for growth through the operation of its first producing gold asset that includes open and underground pit mines along with a modern CIP Processing facility (Pantoro,2022).

Zenith is providing 7.5MW of power generation solution through the use of our diesel generation sets.

The power supply commenced in 2017.
