“A Great Work Environment with Strong Focus on Renewables” – Troy McClean 

I joined Zenith Energy in July 2023 and currently work as a Power Station Operator/Maintainer (Electrical) at the Nova mine site. My role involves operating and maintaining the power station, which includes a 10 MW and 5 MW solar farm, a 12 MW/12 MWh battery energy storage system, and 13 diesel generators. 

Why I Joined Zenith Energy? 

I was initially drawn to Zenith Energy because of my interest in power generation and the renewable energy industry. Since joining, I’ve been impressed by the company’s strong focus on renewables and the support I’ve received from my colleagues. 

Work Environment and Growth  

Since starting at Zenith Energy, I have found it to be a great work environment, with plenty of support from my fellow employees. The experience has allowed me to enhance my knowledge of power generation through daily interactions with my team.

Work-Life Balance

I currently work on a 2-2 roster, which gives me a healthy balance between work and personal life. 

Looking Ahead 

I want to continue improving my skills and knowledge as a Power Station Operator/Maintainer and see Zenith Energy continuing to lead in power generation and renewable energy.
