The first of four Goldwind GW165/6.0MW turbines at the Bellevue Gold Project has been fully commissioned and is now generating renewable energy on site — a major step forward in the delivery of the site’s 90 MW hybrid power solution.
Developed by Zenith Energy for Bellevue Gold, this innovative off-grid system integrates wind, solar, thermal generation, and battery storage — enabling up to 80% renewable energy across the year and the ability to operate in ‘engine-off’ mode when conditions allow.
This milestone supports Bellevue Gold’s vision to become Australia’s first net zero (Scope 1 and 2) emission gold mine, powered by one of the country’s most advanced hybrid energy systems.
