Zenith Energy is successfully achieving ‘Engine Off’ operations daily at its Kathleen Valley Hybrid Power System for Liontown Resources, powering the entire mining operation continuously for long durations with 100% renewable energy.

We’re excited to report that to date, with the mine at full load, the integrated solar, wind, and battery energy storage solution has a recorded high mark of powering the entire operation continuously for 74 hours and ‘Engine-off’ durations are regularly occurring for multiple days – no thermal generation.
