On 17 April 2019, Zenith Energy announced it had signed a new Power Purchase Agreement (PPA) with existing customer, Silver Lake Resources, to extend and expand its Build Own and Operate (BOO) power station at the Daisy Milano Gold Mine. The project, Daisy Milano Gold Mine, is now owned and operated by Vault Minerals.

Project Background

On April 17, 2019, Zenith Energy proudly announced the signing of a new Power Purchase Agreement (PPA) with our esteemed partner, Silver Lake Resources. This agreement marks an extension and expansion of our Build Own and Operate (BOO) power station at the Daisy Milano Gold Mine.

Since 2012, Zenith has been providing Silver Lake with BOO remote power, and this new contract solidifies our partnership for an additional 4.5 years. Under the terms of the expanded PPA, Zenith will operate an 18.3MW power station, previously 12MW, comprising 13.2MW of gas-fired production and 5MW of diesel backup generation.

The PPA is scheduled to commence supply in the fourth quarter of 2019, further enhancing our total contracted BOO capacity to approximately 219MW. We consider this announcement a significant milestone for Zenith, reflecting our continued success in securing contract wins and extensions throughout the fiscal year 2019.

The project, Daisy Milano Gold Mine, is now owned and operated by Vault Minerals.
