Brad – Technical Services Engineer
What do you do?
I started as a Power Station Operator Maintainer and over seven years moved through various roles, to where I am now designing and commissioning Zenith’s thermal, LNG and renewable technologies.
What attracted you to Zenith?
Initially for the work life balance while single and traveling a 2:2 roster was great. I was also looking for a company I could grow within, which I have had the opportunity to do so by developing into a more senior technical role.
What is an aspect of the Zenith culture that is most appealing?
The people and knowledge shared within the business, working alongside these experts within the industry.
What is you greatest Zenith career achievement to date?
There are a couple;
- Warrawoona LNG Facility – Being the sole electrical and design technician, I got to see the job through from start to finish. As it was a new and different project for Zenith where I gained a lot of knowledge. I’m also extremely happy with the opportunity/outcome of the project.
- Nova Engines off – Being part of the team and working closely with one of our control’s engineers. I learnt a lot and am proud to say I work for the company who achieved being the first scale mine site in WA to operate engines off.
Looking to the future, what do you envision for your career at Zenith Energy, and how do you see the company evolving in the industry?
I would like to get to a more senior/management role and continue to assist Zenith with its growth.
I see Zenith becoming the “One to work for in the power generation industry”; with our knowledge and capability we will conquer any challenge.
